Ready to get airborne? Aerial Yoga Basics offers those new to aerial to get their feet off the ground and become familiar with the aerial silk. This unique style of yoga, you’ll explore some familiar shapes and postures in new planes helping you bend a bit deeper and invert with ease (only if you want)! We will learn the warm up, postures that support upper body & core strength, plus cool down with some restorative stretches and perhaps one of the most blissful savasanas floating in the silk.
Recommended For: Those brand new to aerial.
NOTE: Contra-indications for practicing aerial yoga are pregnancy, glaucoma, recent surgery, very high or low blood pressure, vertigo, osteoporosis or any bone weakness, carpal tunnel syndrome, recent stroke or hernia.
Please wear a t-shirt or long sleeved shirt. No tank tops, please. Ensure that your clothing is "zipper free" and remove all jewelry, watches and hair clips. These items can snag and damage the silk hammocks. Avoid wearing strong perfumes.
Aerial Yoga - Learn to fly
This hybrid class blends together the familiarity of yoga on the mat with aerial. Using the silk hammock as a prop, students will have access to their own “personal assistant” offering deeper stretching in your warriors, support in your backbends and added balance in standing poses like half-moon or dancer. This slower-paced class is ideal for yoga practitioners who are looking to deepen their mat practice through exploration of familiar poses with the aid of a fun prop as well as for students who want to begin to become more comfortable in the aerial silk and build strength for other aerial classes. It is also a great way to learn yoga and begin a supported practice!
Recommended For: aerial yoga students who want to build strength and play with inversions.
Aerial Yoga - Core & Soar
Elevate your yoga practice with the support of the aerial silk hammock. In this unique style of yoga, you’ll explore some familiar shapes and postures in new planes helping you bend a bit deeper and invert with ease. After a centering warm up, you’ll move through poses that will build upper body & core strength, You’ll cool down with some restorative stretches and perhaps one of the most blissful savasanas floating in the silk. Keep in mind, the majority of the class will be in the air. Because of the techniques involved we recommend choosing a class level that matches your experience with Aerial Yoga.
Once you've taken at least one Aerial Learn to Fly or Just the Basics and feel comfortable in the aerial hammock, you are ready to try Aerial Yoga Core & Soar Class.
Floating Guided Meditation in the Silks
Float your way back into your day with more light, ease, & peace...Enter an elevated state of mediation in our blissful aerial silks. Each class will have a different theme and guided meditation. Class will be 40 minutes. 10 silks available.

Restorative Aerial Yoga
This is our gentle and therapeutic version of aerial yoga. The extra support of a silk hammock allow the body to completely soften, surrender and invert effortlessly. Like classical restorative yoga, this class balances the elements of a slow-paced flow, breath work, and powerful guided meditation. However, a levitated yoga practice reaches muscle groups that cannot be accessed on the mat, providing a deeper dimension into organic exploration in each pose and enhances stretches and twists.
Students will finish their practice with a serene savasana, floating peacefully inside of a silk cocoon.
Recommended For: Comfortable with being off the ground, but wants a mellow aerial yoga experience.
Aerial Yoga Restorative class is open to all levels of practice, although it is still HIGHLY recommended for first-time aerial yoga practitioners to attend the Aerial Yoga Basics class.
