Just Breathe Health and Wellness 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Make 2021 your year!  We are excited to offer a 2021 - 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training Program.  Completion of our 200 hour Teacher Training program satisfies all the national requirements to become a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), the Yoga Alliance standard for teaching yoga in the United States and other selected countries. Our 200-hour program is for more than just the aspiring yoga teacher. It benefits anyone looking to deepen their practice or understanding of yoga, or simply looking for direction. In joining a community of like-minded yogis, students can evolve their own personal method. Learning in a group environment as well as with individual mentors, our training is an opportunity to develop personally as well as in the role of a teacher. Lead teacher Kimberly Oen, E-RYT 200/500 interweaves her years of training as a trauma sensitive yoga teacher as well as holistic health coach and women's health coach into the program.  Trainees can specialize in their area of interest and passions.  We encourage to find your authentic self!

 

Throughout this program, we will study…

  • Yoga Asana (postures) - teaching with confidence and clarity

  • Yoga humanities - become familiar with the general principles of Yoga Philosophy and Ancient Texts and Teachings

  • The science and art of Intelligent Sequencing

  • Meditation methods by lineage

  • A study of Ayurveda ~ a 5,000 year old health system and lifestyle of  self-care

  • Working with special populations including children, special needs such as PTSD, Trauma, senior populations, prenatal mom's and those with injuries

  • Pranayama (guiding the breath) 

  • Anatomy, physiology and biomechanics

  • Subtle Anatomy including Chakras, koshas & science of study of energy movement

  • The business and ethics of yoga

  • Working one-on-one and the private client business

  • Understanding classroom ethics, professionalism and so much more!e

Training is Friday 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm & Saturday 8 am to 6 pm

September 24th & 25th

October 8th & 9th

October 22nd & 23rd (graduation weekend!)

 

Prerequisite:  a minimum of 6 months personal or studio practice

We know this is an investment in your future: mind, body and soul and you will find our program is comparable in cost to training's across the Midwest.  Please note the payment plan available.  There are no additional fees except for the cost of your books. Maximum of 12 accepted into the program.

 

Down payment - $250 deposit (non-refundable) to reserve your spot and is due with application (included in total investment)

Total investment:  Payment in full $2,400

Payment plan - $250 down payment plus $235/month for 10 months.  1st payment due January 1st 2021.
